Waking up among the giants: our dream days at The Giants Residence in Tenerife

There are certain places where you walk through the door and instantly feel your shoulders drop a few inches. That is the exact feeling we had the moment we stepped inside The Giants Residence in Tenerife. Tucked away right near the breathtaking cliffs of Los Gigantes, this gorgeous apartment was home to some truly fantastic days for us. Honestly, we would hop on a plane and go right back in a heartbeat.

Stephanie’s creative touch

What makes this stay so special is the soul(joy) poured into it. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting the owner, Stephanie Cime, in person on the island. Stephanie is an incredibly warm and enthusiastic host, and she is also an artist. You can spot her creative eye in every single corner of the apartment.

She has designed the entire space in a stunning wabi sabi style. Even though everything is modern, spotless, and super clean, it still radiates a wonderful sense of coziness and warmth. The natural materials and calming tones immediately quiet your mind and help you unwind.

Space, fresh air, and that phenomenal view

The apartment itself is wonderfully spacious, and every little detail has been thoughtfully taken care of. With three comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, and air conditioning throughout, you have everything you could possibly wish for. Yet the real magic happens outside. Because of the huge terrace, the whole apartment feels wonderfully airy and open.

From the terrace, you look straight out over the Atlantic Ocean and the towering rock faces. Whether you are enjoying the morning sun with a fresh cup of coffee or slipping into the terrace jacuzzi late in the afternoon, the view remains phenomenal every single minute of the day.

Cocktails around the corner and dining at Codeso

A huge plus of this location is how easy it is to explore in every direction. Right around the corner is Mirador Archipenque, a fantastic viewpoint with a super cozy little terrace. We had a great time sitting there with a delicious cocktail and some tasty bites while looking out over the cliffs and the harbor. A fun bonus is that you can actually spot the apartment from right there!

From The Giants Residence, it is also an easy walk down the hill. Within a few minutes, you have your feet in the sand at the beach or you are wandering through the lively streets of the little town at the base of the cliffs. Stephanie also gave us a golden tip for dinner: a restaurant called Codeso. It turned out to be an absolute hit. The dishes made with fresh, local Canarian ingredients and the intimate vibe made our evening complete.

The ultimate base for adventure

If you love getting out and doing fun activities, this is a dream spot. There are plenty of lovely playas nearby for a relaxing day by the water, and right from Los Gigantes you can head straight into the mountains for unforgettable nature hikes.
